my name is makenna. i'm a central florida native & full sail university graduate with my bachelors in digital arts & design.

i am a certified body piercer, graphic designer, hobbyist photographer & wannabe polyglot.

an, almost, life-long dream of mine has been to become a professional body piercer. when i was younger, my father would take me to get piercings if i did well in school. i never did good in school but i still got the piercings.. this catapulted my love for body modification (maybe i’m also spoiled).

i began studying body modification in 2016, focusing a lot of my free time by reading online forums, watching youtube series by well-known piercers, & starting my own ear stretching journey.

if you know much about tattoo/piercing culture, it can be quite hard to find an apprenticeship and i didn't want to play with jewelry for years. i wanted to pierce, i wanted to be hands on.

i spent 2016-2025 studying, getting pierced, going from luxury private studios to cozy, family-owned, shops. this was where i finally found my future! i've been visiting fine ink studio's since 2022, beginning my apprenticeship in august 2025 when the pieces finally fell into place.

ever since august, i've been trying to dedicate as much time as i can to piercing people and learning things you can only learn while on the job.

body piercings/body modifications are a HUGE passion of mine and i would love to share that with you.
